iQ Benchmark includes LaneMakers, making it easier to identify additional carrier capacity on underperforming lanes directly within your benchmarking workflow.
Where to find LaneMakers
You’ll find the LaneMakers feature on the Lanes Table toward the bottom of the IQ Benchmark screen.
The first time you access this section, you’ll see a banner announcing the integration.
You can dismiss the banner—it won’t appear again after being closed.
How to launch LaneMakers
To use LaneMakers from within iQ Benchmark:
- By default, the lanes are sorted by delta cost, so the highest-cost (or "worst-performing") lanes are at the top of the list.
- The LaneMakers icon will be grayed out until a lane is selected.
- Once you select a lane, the icon becomes active and clickable. Clicking it will open LaneMakers in a new tab, automatically pre-populated with the selected lane details.

LaneMakers helps with:
- Sourcing capacity for underperforming lanes
- Filling gaps in your carrier network
- Exploring alternatives when existing carrier options are limited
- Improving service reliability and cost-efficiency on key lanes
